Class of '51,  2011 60th anniversary Reunion
Notes from the guestbook

What a great party, the best yet, have never seen so many wonderful people having
such a good time, but of course, it was for Joe Daly, one of the finest people to ever
come from the neighborhood, felt really proud to be part of it. Everything was top
shelf, no finer people in the world like the people that came from Ascension, looking
forward to the big one next year, until we have the pleasure of seeing each other
again. God watch over you all.

I would like to thank the Ascension Alumni Committee for another great reunion and
for selecting me as your honoree. This was an unbelievable honor that you bestowed
upon me and I am truly humbled by it. For me, it was an unforgettable event and
wonderful to share with my family,
classmates and neighborhood friends.
Sincerely, Joe Daley ‘51

Hello Alumni! What a fabulous reunion we had....never saw so many people laughing
at the same time...dancing, eating, drinking and having a ball...isn't that what it's all
about...oh, and I forgot, singing too!!!
Yep, it was all that it was supposed to be.
The Alumni Committee, once again, outdid themselves..
I salute each of them...Peggy, thanks for just being YOU!!! what a pleasure to work
with....and Ed, has uploaded more pics and video than Kodak....you're just great!!!
And to all that I once again saw (and some new faces) it was my pleasure to be a part
of such a fabulous tradition. Now people, young and older alumni, please spread the
word and keeping supporting Ascension School, and the children trying to take
advantage of a great education. Our support is what will keep it all moving forward.
Until we see each other again, stay well,
be safe and "keep singing"!!! Ciao, Mike

Great music..great reunion..I loved it..13 of our class of 51 were there and it was like it
was back in the day. Our 60th reunion. Never thought I would live to be 60 but to be at
a grammar school 60th anniversary reunion was the best,,
Brought my old autograph book and had everyone resign it.
