The 2nd Unofficial Offsite Reunion was "A BLAST"!!!!
If you missed it, then you really missed something special. We had over 15 alumni that told, listened and laughed at all the stories, loved all the memories and enjoyed the entire evening. And time flew by....
We ate, we drank and we hugged like we hadn't seen each other in over 40 years, and for some, that was exactly the case.
The venue was fabulous, the hor'd'eurves were on target, the bar was all you could want and the warmth of alumni filled the room.
I can only say thank you for each happy face that I saw last evening. Each was simply beautiful.
Special thank you's to Gerri Cuscione-Ciccarelli, Alumnus and Committee Member and guest, Dahlia Rivera, my everything, beautiful, simply elegant and more, Ken Mahoney, my best friend and was again, there to assist and compliment all my efforts following his two major surgeries; Bert Belasco and Desmond Maxwell, both special friends and my buds from class of 66; Pedro Abreu, a special bud who meant so much to me and others and who we have now re-established a new bond with; Ed Valdaliso and his lovely bride, who for the first time in over 45 years has reunited with the group; Jimmy Cunningham and his bride, Lupida, who we can't seem to get enough of because that infectious laugh and those continuous stories are what make for great reunions; Kathy McBride-Cotroneo, another fabulous alumnus whose smile continued to light up the room and personality that increased the comfortability level immediately; Joey Leo, a great surprise to see because he and his family were such a big part of our Ascension years and yes, Joey still has that great personality and was an added "life to the party", and last but certainly not the least, the lovely
Myrna Toro, whose smile and energy provided the spark that kicked up the volume of laughter up another notch until we all had to say good night.
I say to each one of you, I love you, and can't wait to see you all again.
We will have plenty of pictures that will be posted within the week.
Till next time,

Great show. It looked like fun. Sorry I could not make it. Perhaps next time I will be able to meet the younger alumni.
I had sent you an e-mail asking you or someone from the group to help us with our next reunion. We definitely need younger input and attendance at the reunions.
I'll forward this to Ed or you can. Please give year of grad and the names of those that attended and their addresses so we can update our list.
Please use my home e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.

Thank you so much Pedro. I'll be calling you tomorrow (friday). These pictures tell a great story and they should be on the Ascension Website and the Newsletter.
