Born in Ascension Parish,
Manhattan March 4, 1940, to John and Anne (Comiskey) Farrell, he is survived by Bro. John Farrell, FSC, Kathleen Farrell,
James and Eugene.
He entered the Christian
Brothers on June 26, 1958 and graduated Catholic
University of America with a BS in Physics in 1963, and completed
his MS in Physics at the University of Notre Dame 1970.
After over 20 years
teaching and heading the Brothers schools in Ethiopia, he returned to New York to be close to his ailing parents.
He then began his long
association with LaSalle Academy in
He was a strong supporter
of the LaSallian Volunteer movement living with them
at Resurrection Parish,
Harlem, and until his death at the Bedford Park
Community.
Reposing at John J. Fox & Sons, 201 Street
and the Grand Concourse Tues. and Wed. 2-5 & 7-9 P.M.
Mass of
Christian Burial on Thursday at 10:00 A.M. at St. Philip Neri
Church, across from Fox Funeral Home.
Interment follows at Gate
of Heaven Cemetery.
